1. Shipping costs?
Shipping rates and packaging costs vary by:
- various items
- various zones
- various payment methods
- various VAT rates
The following is the most useful for determining shipping costs:
You order the largest product pro forma (you do not have to fill in your address yet) and then look at what the shipping costs are.
Do not forget to choose your country at the top of the webshop.
The shipping rates that Audiofriends pays at PostNl are, for example:
Belgium: < 500 grams: 8.95 euros excluding VAT. (per 1 January 2025)
Germany: < 500 grams: 9.35 euros excluding VAT. (per 1 January 2025)
Austria: < 500 grams: 9.95 euros excluding VAT. (per 1 January 2025)
UK: < 500 grams: 10.55 euros excluding VAT. (per 1 January 2025)
Switzerland: < 500 grams: 10.95 euros excluding VAT. (per 1 January 2025)
Poland / Finland: < 500 grams: 10.95 euros excluding VAT. (per 1 January 2025)
USA / Canada etc.: < 500: 13,65 euros excluding VAT. (per 1 January 2025)
(You pay as a person including VAT)

(With our shipping costs we are usually low compared to comparable webshops.)
P.S. The shipping and handling costs are a loss for Audiofriends. These costs paid by you are counted by the tax authorities as income by the tax, and in addition to 21% VAT, we must pay approximately 37 - 50% income tax on them.
In addition, there are handling costs, which go beyond packaging alone. We do not work with volunteers.
You buy outside the EU VAT-free.
The payment costs for PayPal, for example, are also relatively low. For example, if an order of 30 Euro is placed, the customer must pay 0.35 + 3.5% = 1.40 Euro payment costs. Audiofriends must pay approximately 37 - 50% income tax on this 1.40 Euro in addition to 21% VAT. Audiofriends also does not think it fair to let customers who do not use PayPal pay for customers who would like to use PayPal, etc.
